Who We Are

The Freehold Borough Educational Foundation is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1999 by a group of civic, educational and business leaders to provide greater community support for our public schools.

The Foundation, managed by a voluntary Board of Trustees, brings value-added opportunities which, due to budgetary constraints, would otherwise not be available to our elementary school children. We are supplementing, not replacing, state aid and local tax funded programs.

S.T.A.R. Certificates

If you can’t find just the right card or gift to show your appreciation for the wonderful job your child’s teacher or a special staff member has done this past year, then give them a S.T.A.R.! Staff Teacher Appreciation and Recognition certificates are a great way to pay it forward and support the work of FBEF. Make a tax-deductable donation of $10 or more per S.T.A.R., and we will send your honoree a certificate suitable for framing.
